The sensational ninth album is on its way! Fabled Talking Heads frontman and art-pop tastemaker David Byrne posted the dates for his upcoming global concert series, supporting his next full-length project via Matador Records. From this year’s fall to the next one’s spring, Byrne will set out on his “Who Is The Sky?” Tour, which plots an extensive course through the United States, Canada, Europe, New Zealand, and Australia. The trek will span over 70 dates, with its US leg featuring multi-night stands, including a stop in Dallas City’s Music Hall at Fair Park. For the first time since David Byrne’s American Utopia era, the GRAMMY-winning Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will perform all-new symphonies showcasing his eclectic ear and knack for groundbreaking collaboration — LIVE in concert! The event will present Byrne alongside the celebrated Ghost Train Orchestra from the Big Apple, whom the singer partnered with on his forthcoming studio album, Who Is The Sky? (2025). Join them and experience such evocative songs as “Everybody Laughs,” a Top 20 single on Adult Alternative Airplay, and “What Is The Reason for It?,” a collaborative piece with Paramore’s Hayley Williams. These and other hits, assisted by multi-awarded producer Kid Harpoon (a.k.a Tom Hull), will ascend in a uniquely orchestral performance blending David Byrne’s irreplicable flair for transformative sound and visual storytelling.
